Faculty of Engineering – The Faculty of Engineering involves its students in continuing to develop their knowledge, both in the academic and non-academic fields. Recently, students of the Chemical Engineering Department were involved in the Nutrizone 2018 Scientific Writing competition organised by the Nutrition Science Student Association of Darussalam Gontor University.
The theme for this competition is “Halal and Thoyyib Food as an Effort to Improve Adolescent Health and Productivity”. The series of activities that started from 5-7 April 2018 were followed by various teams from all universities in Indonesia who were selected to be the 3 best scripts that entered the final.
The Undip team represented by Alfin Vandeni who is a student of the Department of Chemical Engineering joined by students from the Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Medicine won 3rd place in the 2018 Nutrizone LKTI. The research entitled “Modification of Cassava into Cereals that are Rich in Nutrients and Free of Cholestrol” was attempted to overcome food resources in Indonesia.
